A Ukrainian tourist who went on vacation to Egypt with her mother told about the scheme of deception and "monstrous crimes" of local residents. Her story was shared by a friend in the Odessa Blacklist group on Facebook.
So, according to the traveler, the hotel staff forged her mother's coronavirus test due to the fact that women did not want to purchase a tour from a guide. As a result, the 70-year-old Ukrainian woman was quarantined "in terrible conditions."
“Actually, the rest was destroyed. The stress for an elderly person is terrible. At the time of her arrest, she felt great and did not complain about anything. I asked the doctor for a written confirmation of the test result, which he did not give me, referring to the fact that they were reported by phone, and only a few days later they were sent in writing, which was an absolute lie, ”the tourist shared.
As suggested by the Ukrainian, the guide is in cahoots with a doctor. The hotel management decided to take revenge on the women for refusing to buy the tour. “And this greedy guide, in cooperation with the doctor, decided to siphon money out of me for my mother’s false treatment, closing her in dirty casemates, in which the air conditioner was running, the TV remote control melted, the refrigerator did not work, the age-old dust lay ... And instead of food, they brought scraps. The complete horror of imprisonment, ”said the vacationer.
She added that she later demanded that the doctor do a second test and it turned out to be negative, and the representative of the insurance company suggested that the girl contact the police and explained that only with written confirmation of a positive test result, a person can be quarantined.
Nevertheless, the travel agency dissuaded the resident from writing a statement to the law enforcement agencies, explaining that the girl could be imprisoned for the charges, "since the presumption of innocence works in Egypt." As a result, she contacted the management of the accommodation facility on social networks, but so far she has not received a response.
In November, a Russian tourist who rested in Egypt during the coronavirus pandemic described the country with the words "devastation, filth and stench" and compared it to Turkey. The traveler drew attention to the fact that in Egypt it is scary to leave the hotel. In addition, the Russian woman did not like the attitude of residents to vacationers.
