St. Petersburg introduces new restrictions due to coronavirus
St. Petersburg is introducing new measures to combat the spread of coronavirus. The corresponding decree was signed by the Governor Alexander Beglov.
According to the press service of the city administration, since November 9, the work of food courts and food places will be suspended, with the exception of those located at train stations, at the airport and at gas stations.
In addition, children's playrooms in the shopping center will be temporarily closed.
A restriction is introduced on holding mass events with more than 70 people in buildings. An exception is the premises of physical culture, sports and cultural organizations.
Solemn registration of marriage is allowed if no more than 20 people are present.
Earlier it was reported that more than 1,000 COVID-19 cases were re-identified in St. Petersburg per day.
The authorities have announced a "critical" daily increase in new cases of the disease.
