Anastasia Rakova, Moscow Deputy Mayor for Social Development, said that the trend in the spread of coronavirus infection in the capital is alarming. She spoke about this in an interview with TASS on Friday, November 6.

“Today, for the first time since mid-May, we have crossed the mark of 6,000 new cases of coronavirus. Of course, this trend is again causing us concern, ”said Rakova.

Moscow authorities note that the situation with the incidence of COVID-19 is unstable. An increase in overall morbidity and hospitalizations is being recorded, the deputy mayor concluded.

In Moscow, over the past day, 6253 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected - a record figure since the beginning of May. The total number of infected in the capital has reached 456 689. For all the time, 332 984 patients have been cured in the city, of which 3783 are those who recovered in the past 24 hours. 7,140 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic, and 69 are also known to have died in the last 24 hours.
