Rosstat reported that the department continues to keep statistics on deaths from coronavirus infection COVID-19.
The Rosstat website reports that "in September, the number of deaths from COVID-19 increased compared to August 2020."
It is noted that the department identifies four groups of deaths of people diagnosed with coronavirus.
So, the number of cases in the group "COVID-19 as the main cause of death" in September was 4329, in the group "COVID-19 is assumed as the main cause of death, but to confirm the presence of the virus, it is necessary to conduct additional medical research" - 870 cases, "COVID- 19 was a concomitant disease, influenced the development of other diseases and contributed to the emergence of complications that accelerated the death of the patient ”- 1401 cases,“ COVID-19 was a concomitant disease, but did not in any way affect the onset of death ”- 3198 cases.
According to the data of the headquarters as of November 6, 20,582 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia per day, for the entire time 1,733,440 patients with COVID-19 were registered in the country.
