The Center for Infectious Diseases of the Central Clinical Hospital told about the work in the pandemic
Ekaterina Trifonova, head of the Center for Infectious Diseases of the Central Clinical Hospital, spoke about her work in the pandemic.
In an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, she noted that the criteria for hospitalization had changed in comparison with the spring.
“Medium and heavy patients are now admitted to hospitals. That is, the situation has changed towards more severe patients, ”Trifonova said.
According to her, the disease COVID-19 is very insidious, and the condition of patients who are admitted in the first stage, in some cases, may deteriorate, contrary to expectations.
“We are fighting literally for everyone - it's true. I'm still at work at 7 pm and I'm going to stay to see the patients. Of course, a lot depends not only on us, doctors, but also on the people themselves, on their faith in the medical staff, in the positive outcome of the disease, ”Trifonova said.
Earlier, the chief sanitary doctor for the Sverdlovsk region Dmitry Kozlovskikh, in an interview with URA.RU, told why tests for COVID-19 can show an incorrect result.
