KRASNODAR, November 9. / TASS /. The presentation of the new buses took place at the All-Russian Children's Center (VDC) "Orlyonok" on Monday. In total, 25 new vehicles were purchased, made according to a special project by the Kurgan Bus Plant, the total amount of the renovation amounted to more than 180 million rubles, the press service of the center told TASS.

"The fleet of the All-Russian Children's Center has been replenished with 25 new buses equipped with everything necessary for comfortable and safe travel of young passengers. More than 180 million rubles have been allocated by the government of the Russian Federation to renew Orlyonok vehicles," the statement says.

It is clarified that the development of buses lasted about two months: first, the specialists of "Orlenok" worked on the project, then the employees of the Kurgan Bus Plant, which produces vehicles for the VDC. As a result, buses were created with brand names and improved technical characteristics. The vehicles, accommodating up to 40 people, are equipped with air conditioning with individual air distribution in the passenger compartment, an audio system and sound devices that give automatic signals when reversing. In addition, the buses have control over the work and rest regime of drivers. The buses also have an exclusive option made especially for the "Eaglet" - lighting equipment with daytime running lights.

"Running lights are a distinctive feature of this model. These are the first buses in Russia with such a characteristic. They are not on sale yet, in this version the transport was released only for us. There are other technical improvements, there are powerful diesel engines of the 530 series, produced at the Yaroslavl Motor plant ", - the press service quotes the words of the head of the motor depot" Orlenok "Eduard Mileshko.

The press service also added that during the presentation of the transport, the director of "Orlyonok" Alexander Dzheus personally checked the buses, having driven one of them across the center. Jeus commented, "Great view of the road due to large mirrors and very smooth handling."

"Orlyonok" is an all-Russian children's center, which includes ten children's camps, both summer and year-round. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, children's camps in Russia have not accepted campers since mid-March. Since July 1, in compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, children's sanatoriums and camps in the Krasnodar Territory that have a medical license have been resumed.
